Our La Casita Camp
Thank you for your interest in our La Casita rentals and welcome to Sixth Lake!

This waterfront property on Sixth Lake has been my family's "camp" for two generations. It is a cherished getaway for all that have visited here over the years. It is an unforgettable, relaxing, gathering spot and is filled with nature's smells and sounds, relaxing water, woods.

La Casita is a peaceful waterfront camp with a private beach that is great and safe for kids of all ages. The water gradually gets deeper and there is plenty of sand for building sandcastles. Kids can even fish from the floating dock. You will have a canoe and several kayaks available to you if you'd like to explore the lake further. If you bring your own boat, there is room to park it at one of our docks or you can rent a boat nearby.

Many of the pictures you see here were taken right from our dock - you won't have to leave to enjoy a spectacular view. And watch carefully! You might even catch a glimpse of a deer coming to the shore across the lake for a drink. Nature abound - click and listen - it's a local loon we met floating out front in our kayaks.

Your accommodations here are literally only fifty feet from the lake.

  • Our main cabin, La Casita ("la casita" means little house/home in Spanish but you probably already knew that), is a three bedroom cabin, or "camp" as we call them here in the Adirondacks. Details are below.
  • Our garage apartment is tree-top getaway that is perfect for extra privacy, friends and family.

La Casita Main Camp Cabin
The main cabin has three bedrooms, sleeps seven and has a bathroom with full tub and shower. The main cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with stove, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishes & pots and pans. You'll enjoy a picnic table, gas grill, as well as an outdoor fireplace. The cabin front is all windows and the deck wraps around two sides of the cabin - you'll enjoy the waterfront, have a great view, and watch the loons right from your kitchen table or as you relax in the living room. You are responsible for providing your own sheets, towels, linens, paper products, firewood, groceries, etc. - see booking details below.

Our Extra Garage Apartment/Loft
While the La Casita main cabin sleeps seven, additional family or friends or or those that simply need more privacy can rent our small garage tree-top apartment/loft that sleeps up to four people. Our quaint garage apartment/loft has a small but complete kitchen as well as bath - it is a completely private getaway within a getaway!
